  1. The Smithtown Patch shared a story in which Suffolk police asked for the public's help to identify the suspects in the Ulta Beauty theft in Smith Haven Mall in 2022. Four people were charged with the crime on Wednesday. The group from the Bronx stole $7,000 worth of merchandise. (Smithtown Patch)

  3. Smithtown High School East students and staff were evacuated on March 29 as a safety measure. Officials published a note justifying the decision after a graffiti threat was found in one of the bathrooms. According to authorities, Suffolk Police recommended early dismissal and are investigating the incident. (TBR News Media)
  4. Two women were arrested at S&L Relaxed Spa in Commack on Wednesday night. Police charged them with prostitution and unlicensed practice of a profession. In addition, the fire department reported 25 fire safety violations at the facility. (Smithtown Patch)
