Golf Prodigy Jim Liu to Play for Stanford
The young golfer will play for the same school that Tiger Woods once played.

Smithtown teenage golf prodigy Jim Liu has decided to take his post high school golf career to Stanford University.
According to a Newsday report [subscription required], Liu is the top golfer in the nation’s Class of 2013, and is second in the Golfweek junior rankings.
Liu is heading to the school, which is the alma mater of another golf great – Tiger Woods.

The golfer became the when he won the two-round championship in Ada, Michigan – he was just 14 years old. He was later honored Liu with a proclamation in November of the same year for his accomplishments by Suffolk County Executive Steve Levy.
