• Threatening Notes, Cash, Cocaine: Kings Park Man Indicted In LI Bank Robberies: DA (patch.com) — Smithtown-area readers may recognize Kings Park resident Brian Blackford, who prosecutors say robbed two Flagstar Bank branches in West Babylon and Deer Park earlier this month, stealing more than $4,000. He was arrested the same day as the second robbery, allegedly found with cocaine, cash, and a threatening note, and has pleaded not guilty while being held on high bail ahead of a January court date.
