IN CASE YOU MISSED IT: Local Stony Brook Profs Honored
Two of the four professors selected for the prestigious award are Smithtown residents.
A pair of Smithtown residents who are Stony Brook University professors were awarded theĀ National Science Foundation Faculty Early Career Development program award.
Assistant Professor of Materials Science & Engineering at Stony Brook UniversityĀ Alexander Orlov,Ā who is also a faculty member of the Consortium for Interdisciplinary Environmental Research at the university and named a fellow of theĀ Royal Society of Chemistry, was selected for his work onĀ Developing Novel Biomimetic Heterostructured Ceramics for Water Splitting.
