Kick'N Chicken Opens Nashville-Style Spot In Smithtown
"It's a really nice town," says owner Ryan Carroll. The chicken joint serves up jumbo tenders, sandwiches, milkshakes and more.

SMITHTOWN, NY — Kick'N Chicken recently opened in Smithtown, bringing its Nashville-style poultry to its second location on Long Island. The new eatery is at 20 E. Main St., Smithtown.
Owner Ryan Carroll said it "definitely feels good" to have a second Kick'N Chicken under his belt, as the success of the flagship Farmingdale store allowed for expansion into Smithtown.
"It’s a ton of work, but it’s definitely rewarding," Carroll told Patch.

Caroll fell in love with Nashville-style chicken during a trip to Tennessee. What makes Nashville-style delicious, Carroll previously told Patch, is the oil and spice mix the chicken is dunked in.

People can choose their heat level, including "Blazin' Inferno," which requires a daring customer to sign a waiver.
The Smithtown store recently debuted a brand new milkshake machine for specialty shakes. Flavors include Rainbow Cookie, Oreo Cookies & Cream, Banana Cream Pie, Strawberry Fields Forever, and the classics: chocolate or vanilla.
Carroll opened his first Kick'N Chicken in Farmingdale in December 2021. The location's success paved the way for a second.
"We’re constantly improving things," Carroll said.
Carroll said the Smithtown store is a prime location.
"It’s a good demographic for what we’re doing," Carroll said. "It’s a really nice town. People are really nice around here. We wanted to get in Suffolk, so here we are.”
