- The St. James Food Pantry has been doing an incredible job serving the community with generosity and pre-packed food boxes. Over 50 families in St. James found hope and support from volunteers under Ruth Roman, the pantry's director coordination. The pantry opens on Tuesdays from 11:30 to 1:30 p.m., Wednesdays from 6 to 7 p.m., Thursdays from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m., and Fridays (appointment only). (Smithtown Chronicle)
- Three businesses in Smithtown were reported for selling e-cigarettes to minors. Police checked the following stores on Wednesday after residents complained in the area: Harsh Convenience Store and Speedway in Kings Park and Cloud Vapor and Smoke in Smithtown. (Smithtown Patch)

- Patch: "Five people were sentenced for their roles in a string of thefts at Ulta Beauty stores in East Farmingdale, Commack, and Patchogue after they pleaded guilty, Suffolk County District Attorney Raymond Tierney announced Friday." (Patch)
