Man Steals Items From Smithtown Walgreens

Test strips for blood glucose monitor were taken from pharmacy.

A man stole items from a Smithtown Walgreens in September, with the police asking for help to identify and locate him.

He entered the Walgreens at 10 East Main St., Smithtown, on Sept. 27 around 7:05 p.m., approached the pharmacy counter and asked for four boxes of One Touch Test Strips, which are for a blood glucose monitor. When the employee left the counter, the man took the boxes and fled without paying, the Suffolk County Police Fourth Precinct reported.

The man is described as approximately 5 feet 10 inches. He was wearing a black shirt, jeans and eyeglasses.
