Maria’s Mexican And Latin Cuisine Of Nesconset Wins 2 LI Awards

NESCONSET, NY — Maria's Mexican and Latin Cuisine of Nesconset was recognized as having the best Mexican and best Latin American food on Long Island, according to the 2022 Bethpage Best of LI awards.

Maria's Mexican and Latin Cuisine, owned by Mary Mones, is at 211 Smithtown Boulevard on the border of Nesconset and Smithtown.

"Honestly, winning is a team effort and we wouldn't be here without the support and dedication of our Staff, Patrons, Neighbors, and Friends of Maria's," Mones told Patch in a statement.

Maria's has won best Latin American cuisine on the island nine times since 2010, as well as best Mexican food twice in that span.
