  1. Once again, the Town of Smithtown Youth Bureau takes the initiative to serve the community on April 22 at the Global Youth Service Day Volunteer Fair and Toiletry Drive.
    The event will be held in the Smithtown Public Library Community Room from 12:30 to 3:30 p.m. Just so you know, all are welcome to join. (Town of Smithtown)
  2. The Neurodiversity Strength Flag is now floating at the Smithtown Hall to honor those with neurological disorders such as autism and epilepsy. The newly designed flag was created by Josh Mirsky, whose work was chosen among 40 submissions. The flag now represents the neurodiversity in the State of New York. (Town of Smithtown)
  3. Congratulations to Smithtown senior student Stephen Hunt IV for winning the Good Citizen Award. The Daughters of American Revolution Anna Smith Strong Chapter gave the nomination. Hunt IV conquered first place in the contest and was granted a scholarship. (Smithtown Patch)
  4. St. James Lutheran Church celebrates Nordic heritage with the Viking Auction Sons of Norway on Friday, April 21! There will be food, raffles, music, and more at 6:30 p.m. Tickets are $10 per person. The church is located at 230 Second Avenue, St. James. (Smithtown Matters)
