Service: Tuesday, April 4 starting at 10 a.m. at the Fives Smithtown Funeral Home on 31 Landing Avenue in Smithtown.

Obituary: Margaret P. Maerkle, of Smithtown, passed away on Friday, March 31. She was 86.

Margaret was predeceased in life by her husband, Alfred J. Maerkle.

She is survived by her children; Alfred, Margaret Ellen Vrabec, John, Kevin and Paul.

Internment will take place at the Calverton National Cemetery in Calverton.
