Visitation: Saturday, Dec. 29 from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. and from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. and Sunday, Dec. 30 from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. at the St James Funeral Home on 829 Middle Country Road in St. James.
Service: Sunday, Dec. 30 starting at 5:30 p.m. at the Smithtown Gospel Tabernacle on 1 Higbie Drive in Smithtown.

Obituary: Christopher Michael Costello, of Centereach, died on Monday, Dec. 24 at Mather Hospital in Port Jefferson. He was 27.
Although only 27 at the time of his death, Costello affected many people in his lifetime through his deep commitment to education and motivational speaking.

He was attending Suffolk Community College pursuing a future as a Chemical Dependency Counselor.
He was also passionately involved with Clean Slate Living, visiting surrounding schools striving to teach and empower teenagers and young adults to live healthy lifestyles.
Costello challenged them to identify where they lack integrity and remove habits that may lead them to moral and physical self destruction.
He was a loving son to his parents, Ann and Greg Pellegrino, and Russ Costello.
He will be lovingly remembered by his siblings Sarah (Max) Ivanov, Jessica (Steven) Cicchetto, and Nicholas Pellegrino. Costello will also be fondly remembered by his nieces, Mila and Lily.
Burial will take place at Washington Memorial Park in Mt. Sinai.
