Obituary:​ Paul Setteducati, of Smithtown, Dies at 67

Died: February 19, 2017

Visitation: Thursday, February 23 from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. and from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. at the Fives Smithtown Funeral Home on 31 Landing Avenue in Smithtown.

Service: Friday, February 24 starting at 9:45 a.m. at the St. Patrick R.C. Church on 280 East Main Street in Smithtown.

Obituary: Paul Setteducati, of Smithtown, passed away on Sunday, Feb. 19 after a prolonged illness. He was 67.

Paul was disabled for most of his adult life with a painful back injury, but he never complained or resented his lot in life.

He enjoyed the simple pleasures he found at home, enjoying the company of his family and friends, and his dog, which was always by his side.

Paul prided himself on being able to fix most things that broke, including his oil burner, pool filter and his cars.

He loved watching old movies on TV, especially black and white films. On most days, you would find him sitting outside or in his garage with his dog near, listening to his radio, smoking his favorite cigarettes from the Indian reservation.

He is survived by his wife, Kathi (nee Reilly), and two sons, Michael and Dennis.

In addition, Paul is also survived by his sisters, Barbara and Valerie, and a brother, David.
