- A bartender was arrested in Kings Park following a police investigation at the Celtic Crossing Tavern on Pulaski Road on July 28. Authorities inspected the bar on a State Liquor Authority check due to community complaints about alcohol being sold to underaged individuals. (TBR News Media)
- The Smithtown Public Library is hosting another evening of music on Aug. 3! The 2023 Dennis Cannataro Family Summer Concert Series brings the Boardwalk Nights (Jersey Shore Tribute) at 7:30 p.m. at the Smithtown building. This is a free event open for all in the community. (Smithlib)
