  1. On Monday night, an accident killed one on Route 347 in Nesconset. A man driving westbound struck a 54-year-old male riding an electric scooter. First responders arrived at the scene and transported him to Stony Brook Hospital, but unfortunately, the victim was pronounced dead. Police are asking for eyewitnesses to contact the Fourth Squad at 631-854-8452. (Smithtown Patch)
