Police: Two Men Shoplifted from Sears, One Caught
Police say a second man was not apprehended after a K-9 search.
Suffolk County Police have arrested one man in connection with a shoplifting incident at the Smith Haven Mall on Wednesday afternoon.
Police said a call came in at 12:48 p.m. of two people shoplifiting from Sears. One man was arrested and the second man was not caught after a K-9 search. The arrested man, whose name was not disclosed, received a field appearance ticket and would not be held overnight. He is set to appear in the first district court at a future date.
A police investigation is continuing.
