Shoppers who hoped to spend a snow day browsing New Year sales are going to wait a few hours.Ā 

Smith Haven Mall in Lake GroveĀ announced it will delay its opening until noon on FridayĀ after a heavy snowfall has left roads slick and parking lots blanketed.Ā 

The Lake Grove mall will be open from noon - 9:30 p.m. Friday, according to its website.Ā
