  1. Suspect at large after Smithtown bank robbery -detectives are asking anyone with information on the robbery to call the Major Case Unit at 631-852-6555 or anonymously to Crime Stoppers at 1-800-220-TIPS. (Rutherford Daily Voice)
  2. Smithtown HSW students study Marine Biology at Sunken Meadow. Using a large net while in pairs, the group scooped up fish and other marine life to study what creatures resided there. The assorted fish was then brought back to tanks in their classroom for further study. (smithtownmatters.com)
  3. These school chums are making people-grade dog food at Natural Hounds. Wooley, 23, of St. James, said of the first batches of dog food he made. “We just got away from dog food, so it was turkey, potatoes, rice, basically human-grade food and we would change it each week.” (Greater Long Island)
