- At the Friends of Caleb Smith Preserve’s 18th annual catch-and-release Junior Fishing Tournament on Saturday, more than 200 fish were caught at the Caleb Smith State Park Preserve in Smithtown by 38 young anglers who participated in the tournament. Many won prizes for the largest fish caught and others won a fishing rod. Fun was had by all! (Smithtown Matters)
- Someone stole a "2009 Cadillac Escalade from a parking lot at Certified HQ Headquarters" on Middle Country Road in Nesconset on June 10 at 7 p.m., police said. This offence is considered grand larceny (third-degree). (Patch)
