- Following numerous community complaints, on Wednesday, around 3:30 p.m., Suffolk police investigated Angel Spa, at 12 Bank Ave. in Smithtown, police said. Ji Guoyin, 46, of Flushing, Queens, was arrested and charged with two counts of prostitution and two counts of unauthorized practice of a profession, Suffolk police said. (Smithtown Patch)
- One of the most rewarding jobs on Long Island is becoming a puppy raiser. The puppies you raise receive training to become guide dogs and service dogs for Guide Dog Foundation and America's VetDogs.
