  1. ICYMI: Smithtown student-volunteers clean up Long Beach Park. Together, the volunteers tackled harmful waste left along the shoreline, according to the Town of Smithtown.(Smithtown Patch)
  2. Suspect at large after Smithtown bank robbery. He is described as being white, approximately 5-foot-9 with a heavy build and short black hair. He was wearing a Dallas Cowboys face mask, a dark sweatshirt, red or orange shorts, and black sneakers. Call the Major Case Unit at 631-852-6555 or anonymously to Crime Stoppers at 1-800-220-TIPS.   4. Smithtown runners take to the streets. More than 140 runners took off from the Smithtown school district administration building on Main Street and New York Avenue for the 15th annual Running of the Bull.
