Smithtown HS East Chamber Choir Performs Festive Holiday Music
The students performed at the Long Island Music And Entertainment Hall Of Fame.

STONY BROOK, NY — The Smithtown High School East Chamber Choir performed festive holiday music on Dec. 11 at the Long Island Music and Entertainment Hall of Fame (LIMEHOF).
The audition-based choir features students with a passion for performing vocal music. Music teacher Mark Hegreness leads the choir.
LIMEHOF opened on Nov. 25 and has since hosted performances from local bands including "Quarter Horse," "Jack’s Waterfall American Roots," Richie Cannata and Mark Newman and Kerry Kearney. It also hosted a conversation and book signing event by Liberty Devitto and Joe Rock.

The Long Island Music and Entertainment Hall of Fame is open Wednesdays through Sundays from noon to 5 p.m. Admission prices are: adult $19.50; seniors (65+) and veterans $17.00;
students (w/ID) $15.00. Children under 12 are free. Tickets can be purchased online at the
LIMEHOF.org website or at the door.
LIMEHOF was founded in 2004 and is dedicated to the idea that Long Island’s musical heritage is an important resource that should be celebrated and preserved for future generations. The organization encompasses Nassau, Suffolk, Queens, and Kings counties.
