Smithtown Police Blotter: Man Steals $1K Worth Of Goods From Target

ALSO: Two fraudulent checks were written under a man's bank account, police say.

The Suffolk County Police Department posted the following information. All charges are accusations and do not signify guilt.

  • Jan. 20: Bjoern Lienemann, 55, of Northport, stole $1,050 worth of materials from Target in Commack around 8:30 p.m. Oct. 26, police said. He was arrested and charged with fourth-degree grand larceny: value of property more than $1,000.

Incidents

  • Jan. 22: Grand larceny (fourth-degree) was reported on Moriches Road in St. James at 11:47 a.m. Two fraudulent checks were written under a man's bank account, police said.
