For students about to transition from high school to college, the Smithtown Central School District hosted its first annual evening college fair to wrap up april.
More than 70 colleges attended the event, and students were introduced to the event with a presentation from counselors Bob Woods, Mike Agostino and Karen Schmalz, explaining why the district will be doing this from now on and the college selection process. The event was hosted by Ingrid Hrvatin, director of guidance, and the other high school counselors, and coordinated by counselors Kate Baker and Julie Russo.
