Smithtown Teen Reported Missing Found Unharmed: Police

The girl had been reporting missing early Thursday and was found unharmed, police say.

SMITHTOWN, NY β€” A Smithtown teenage girl was reported missing on Thursday morning, Suffolk police said. The department is requesting the public's help finding her.

Vianna Dettling, 18, of Lilac Lane, was reported missing by a family member after she was last seen getting into a white sedan in front of 299 Lilac Lane, Smithtown, at approximately 3:10 a.m., police said.

Dettling was described as caucasian, 5 feet 6 inches tall and 150 pounds with brown hair and blue eyes, police said. She was last seen wearing a multicolored t-shirt and black pants.

Detectives are asking anyone with information on her location to call 911 or the Fourth Squad at 631-854-8451.
