- St. Johnland Assisted Living Facility is now open in Kings Park. A luncheon was held on Feb. 1 at the facility as part of the Swearing In ceremony for new members of the Kings Park Chamber of Commerce. St. Catherine of Sienna Medical Center hosted the event. - Are you a fan of classic movies? If so, you might like to know that Celebrate St. James is hosting a Classic Movies series. - Meet the Smithtown/Hauppauge Swimming & Diving team who won the Section XI Suffolk County Championship on Saturday, Feb. 11! - Port Jefferson Theatre Three features Dorothy's Adventures In Oz from Feb. 22- March 18! Most presentations will be held at 11 a.m. The good news is tickets are just $10 per person! It should be mentioned a sensory-sensitive performance is scheduled for Sunday, Feb. 26, at 11 a.m. (Theatre Three)
- Long Island Museum in Stony Brook is treating students on winter break with two days of free admission! If you are looking forward to some outings in the community, add up some history exploring the exhibits on Thursday and Friday, Feb. 23-24, from noon to 5 p.m. (LI Museum)
- For those who would like to donate to the Town of Smithtown Blood Drive in March, please look at this complete guide with everything you have to know before going.
