  1. The Off-Road N' Outdoors Power Sports store on Jericho Turnpike in Smithtown was burglarized on June 25. According to Suffolk police, the glass door was broken, and a dirt bike and a locked cash box were stolen around 4:33 a.m. (Smithtown Patch)
  2. The music will be loud at the Smithtown Library with the return of the Summer Concert Series. Suffolk County Legislator Rob Trotta announced that the concerts would start on Thursday, July 7, at 7:30 p.m., with the Just Sixties (60s) opening the event. (Smithtown Matters)
  3. Town of Smithtown hosted a ribbon-cutting ceremony to celebrate the Gaynor Park Little League Field opening in St. James. Town officials, the Recreation Department, and other community institutions gathered on June 11 for the grand opening. (Patch)
