- The hard work and perseverance of the Mills Pond Cares Club have paid off. The Smithtown School District announced students raised and donated $775 to the Smithtown's Children Foundation. This nonprofit looks after families who are part of the school district and need emotional and financial support. (Smithtown Patch)
- Smithtown Public Library-Nesconset Building will host Mario Kart Madness on Friday, April 7, at 4 p.m. Children in 6-12 grade are invited to sign up to participate in the exciting race! This event will bring the youth community together for fun socialization. (Smithtown Chronicle)
- Suffolk County Stoppers sought two people caught on camera shoplifting at Dick's Sporting Goods on Jericho Turnpike. They removed 29 security tags from merchandise using an electronic sensor. A cash reward is offered to whoever has any information. (TBR News Media)
- The St. James Chamber of Commerce hosts a free Egg Hunt for kiddos aged 1-10! The event will take place, weather permitting. Parents are asked to stay with their kids and bring a basket and a camera to take pictures with the Easter Bunny!
