- TD Bank, located at 460 Pulaski Road in Greenlawn, was robbed on Sunday afternoon. Police are looking for the suspect who handed a note to the teller demanding money and fled the scene on foot after taking cash. Anyone with information on this incident is asked to contact 631-852-6553. (Smithtown Matters)
- Hooray for the three new pickleball courts now open just 8 miles away from Smithtown Main Street. A ribbon-cutting ceremony was held on Wednesday at Veterans Park in East Northport to celebrate the grand opening. (Patch)

- The Sweetbriar Nature Center is now the new home of the Lynx captured in Central Islip last week. The Strong Island Animal Rescue League helped to capture the bobcat, now called "Leonardo De Catprio," and to transport it safely to the center.
