- Kings Park School District partnered with town officials to host its Touch A Truck event at the Walt Whitman Mall on Saturday, Sept. 23. The event is open to the public from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., featuring a vast collection of official vehicles. It's a free admission event. (Smithtown Matters)
- The Smithtown Patch highlights the Kings Park H.S. for its recognition as the Best H.S. BY U.S. News & World Reports - Schools. The achievement is due to the institution's successful graduation rate. (Smithtown Matters)
- There will be a Free Flu Vaccination Drive-Thru in Smithtown on Saturday, Sept. 23. Residents 18+ can now make appointments here. Doses will be administrated at the St. Catherine of Siena Hospital at 50 Route 25ASmithtown from 8 to 10 a.m. (Smithtown Gov.)
- Legislator Rob Trotta asks the community to donate non-perishable food items to support the Kings Park St. Vincent de Paul Food Pantry. Personal hygiene items are also accepted.
