Week in Review: Memorial for Late Deli Owner

Smithtown lost a beloved business owner on April 27, and family members, friends and fellow business owners have put together a memorial outside of his former store. Arthur Weinisch of Weinisch's Delicatessen was 63 years old.

One of Smithtown's vacant storefronts will soon be filled by a southwest style eatery. The former home to , located at 77 Route 111 near and , will be taken over by Moe's Southwest Grill, a Tex-Mex chain restaurant based in Atlanta known for its pop culture references in its menu.

If you're on East Main Street and looking to fill up your gas tank there is now one less place for you to do so. , located at 323 East Main Street in Smithtown, has closed.
