West sophomore lacrosse standout Christian Zawadzki has made a verbal commitment to play college lacrosse at the University of Maryland, according to a laxlessons.com report.
According to the report, the midfielder gave Maryland his verbal commitment to accept their scholarship offer the first week of December.
Zawadzki is the latest West player to solidify lacrosse plans post high school. Taking the field for the Bulls this season with college plans already locked down include in November, and James Pannell, who according to insidelacrosse.com, made a committment to play for the University of Virginia in September 2010.
