1. Michelle Krupa, 55, claims the Guide Dog Foundation in Smithtown Campus is responsible for leaving her 3-year-old guide dog, Milton, in a hot car that caused him to die. According to Krupa, she dropped Milton off at the campus for a special training session on July 7, and the incident happened weeks later during the heat wave that hit Long Island. (Audacy News)
2. Police are asking the public's help to identify and locate a trio responsible for stealing a wallet at the Trader Joe's supermarket in Lake Grove. After committing the theft, the suspects went to Smith Haven Mall and made a $4,000 purchase at the Apple Store. (Patch)
