Woman Critically Injured In Suffolk Fire

The woman was brought to a hospital in critical condition, police say. She was the only occupant in the home.

LAKE GROVE, NY — A woman was critically injured in a fire in Lake Grove on Thursday night, Suffolk police said.

Fourth Precinct officers responded to a Moriches Road home after a 911 caller reported a fire at the residence at 11:13 p.m.

Kerrianne Kelly, 52, was located in the home and transported to Stony Brook University Hospital in critical condition, police said. There were no other occupants in the house.

The cause of the fire is non-criminal in nature, a preliminary investigation revealed.

Detectives are asking anyone with information on the fire to call the Arson Section at 631-852-6024.
