Chas Addams Exhibit Opens at The Southampton Center
"CHAS ADDAMS: Family and Friends" on view through Nov. 3.
The Southampton Center opened its fall art exhibit, CHAS ADDAMS: Family and Friends during the Southampton Village SeptemberFest festivities on Saturday.
The exhibit celebrates Charles “Chas” Addams, the legendary cartoonist best known for his creation of the Addams Family. It features nearly 100 pieces of his cartoons and drawings produced over 60 years.
“When we opened the doors of Southampton Center as a new arts venue in July, this is just the kind of quality show and community response we envisioned," Southampton Village Mayor Mark Epley said in a statement. “We are thrilled to have had nearly 1,000 visitors to CHAS ADDAMS on its first day.”
