A local man was arrested for driving drunk after he was seen driving erratically. The director of a performing arts center wants to bring back the energy to the arts post-pandemic. And Southampton High School students are taking a new class with important history.

1. Lisa Finn at Patch reports that a Center Moriches man was arrested and charged with driving while intoxicated in Hampton Bays Saturday. Around 3:10 p.m. on Montauk Highway, Miguel A. Pirir, 24, was seen driving west in a "reckless and erratic manner." (Patch)
