House Fire Breaks Out In Southampton Friday: Officials
BREAKING: Firefighters were battling the blaze at just before 1 p.m. Friday, officials say
SOUTHAMPTON, NY — Firefighters were at the scene of a residential fire in Southampton Friday, officials said.
According to Chris Brenner, public information officer for the Southampton Fire Department, the fire broke out at a home on Wickapogue Road in Southampton at about 12:34 p.m. It was not immediately clear if there were any residents or pets in the home, he said.
The Southampton Fire Department requested aid from the North Sea Fire Department, and requested a rapid intervention team from the Sag Harbor Fire Department Southampton Village Volunteer Ambulance was also present for firefighter assessment; Southampton Town Ambulance was also at the scene, Brenner said. The Hampton Bays Fire Department was also called to stand by for the Southampton Fire Department.
