The juveniles were taken home by a passing motorist after they demanded the woman pull the car over and let them out of the car, police say.
SOUTHAMPTON, NY — Three kids in the Hamptons told a woman driving their car in an "erratic" manner to pull over and let them out, police said.
According to Southampton Town police, on Thursday at 3:45 p.m., Amanda Reifsteck, 22, of Noyack was arrested after a thorough investigation done by officers into the incident, which happened in January.
On January 19, she operated a motor vehicle on North Sea Road in Southampton in a reckless manner with three juveniles inside the vehicle, police said. Reifsteck’s driving was so erratic that the juveniles had her pull the vehicle off the road, so they could get out; they were then taken home by a passing motorist, police said.
