Multiple Injuries Reported In County Road 39 Rollover Crash: Officials
A portion of County Road 39 was closed for hours after the crash, with the injured transported to 3 different hospitals, officials say.
SOUTHAMPTON, NY — A portion of County Road 39 was shut down in both directions Friday night after a rollover crash with multiple injuries, officials said.
According to Chris Brenner, public information officer for the Southampton Fire Department, the crash took place just after 10:30 p.m. on County Road 39, just west of St. Andrews Road.
Multiple patients were transported to three different hospitals; a medevac landed at Stony Brook University Southampton campus to transport two patients to Stony Brook University Hospital, Brenner said.

As of midnight, County Road 39 remained totally closed both east and westbound from Tuckahoe Lane to St. Andrews Road.
Southampton Volunteer Ambulance, along with the Southampton Village Volunteer Ambulance, were at the scene assisting with patient care, Brenner said.
