  1. Dan's Papers rounds up patriotic events happening locally for Veteran's Day. Claude’s Restaurant at Southampton Inn has arranged a special ceremony and musical performance at the flagpole outside the inn on Thursday at 5 p.m. Broadway and opera singer Cristina Fontanelli will perform “Proud to Be an American” and a local veteran will be honored with a plaque for their time at Vietnam’s infamous Hamburger Hill. A patriotic cabaret show and dinner will take place from 6 to 9 p.m. (Dan's Papers)
  2. Real estate blog Hedges tells us about two historic homes in Southampton Village that just sold. 41 Gin Lane had a last ask of $16.995 million. 103 Great Plains Road sold in late October and was last asking $17.45 million. (Hedges)
