His track record speaks for itself, achieving outstanding results in luxury property sales and an impressive rental business of over $2 million in transactions in 2020 alone.
In 2018, Mark teamed up with his son, Vance Schindler, forming The Schindler Team. Vance lends great value to the team with his digital marketing expertise, and solid connections throughout the community. More recently, Kyle Hubbard came onboard, a Westhampton Beach native with unparalleled knowledge of the area and a valuable home remodeling and tech background.

Patch recently had a chance to talk with The Schindler Team.
Patch: How long have you been selling real estate?
Mark: 18+ years.
Vance: Over 4 years.
Kyle: Joined the team October 2021 after a successful seven-year career selling enterprise software.
Patch: What attracted you to the real estate industry, and how did you get started?
Mark: The opportunity to continue to be self-sufficient for myself and my family, and the experience of building two homes and reselling.
Vance: I was immersed in real estate from a young age watching my father’s success in the industry. Fast forward many years and I find myself in the same industry that caught my eye as a kid. The ability to help locals sell their homes or introduce future residents to the area I grew up in, brings me the satisfaction I was looking for in a career.
Kyle: I spent several years in the home remodeling industry prior to working in tech and have always found immense satisfaction helping homeowners improve their homes. Helping people find their dream homes made the transition to real estate very fulfilling.
Patch: Do you have a specialty or niche market when it comes to your work in real estate?
The Schindler Team: We listen to our clients and customers to understand what they are looking to achieve. Handling that process with the utmost care is paramount and dictates the type of property or location that they are looking for. That said, we have worked with clients from Montauk to Remsenburg and assisted customers even further throughout Long Island and into the city and neighboring states. We are fortunate to have a team specialized in the Hamptons market but with life experience that spans throughout the country.
Patch: What type of properties are your specialty?
The Schindler Team: Our specialty is luxury and specifically waterfront properties. Having spent our lives on or in the water has given us a great appreciation of the value these properties provide.
Patch: If you had to sum up your approach to real estate in five words, what would those words be?
The Schindler Team: Loyalty, knowledge, expertise, communication, and patience.
Patch: What’s the biggest challenge or most difficult moment you’ve faced as a real estate agent?
The Schindler Team: The biggest challenge is always when the housing supply is tight (as it is right now). There is nothing more satisfying than finding the perfect product for our buyers. A client who is in search of a specific lifestyle and home may require more time and effort, but that is exactly the type of client that we find the most satisfaction in assisting. We love where we live and we want our clients to be afforded the same feeling.
Patch: Is there a real estate deal over the span of your career that you have been most proud of?
The Schindler Team: Selling the old Quogue Inn. The transformation of the club and re-development of the surrounding area was a testament to the importance of that deal and to the community revenue. Setting the bar on the value of this pristine location has elevated all of the surrounding properties and become a draw that we all enjoy daily.
Patch: What’s the most satisfying part of your job?
The Schindler Team: One of our favorite aspects of this work is seeing our clients out and about along Main Street and at the beaches, enjoying the lifestyle of this unique community. The ability of clients to maximize their time in this wonderful area gives us immense satisfaction.
Patch: How do your techniques, strategies and services distinguish themselves from the competition?
The Schindler Team: Living locally in the area that we represent gives us a unique perspective that resonates with our clients due to our understanding of the dual nature of this community; there are very different specific factors that a seasonal resident looks for compared to a full-time resident and we have extensive experience servicing both.
Patch: Do you have any advice for readers who are currently in the process of buying or selling a home?
The Schindler Team: For Buyers: Patience. There are beautiful homes all over this area and we will work with you to find the perfect home. For Sellers: Pricing correctly is the key to selling a home quickly, especially as the environment experiences the significant volatility that we all see happening currently.
Patch: How can Patch readers learn more about your work and business?
The Schindler Team: Readers can learn more about us and our team on our website. We welcome readers to connect with us in whatever medium they prefer! They can find us on Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn or they can call us at 516-885-2577.
