🌱 Southampton Daily: Driver Seriously Injured In Rollover Crash + DWI

Here are the top stories in Southampton today:

1. Louis Napolitano, 40, who was driving a 2017 Mercedes-Benz, was seriously injured in a North Sea rollover crash early Wednesday, police said. According to Southampton Town police, Napolitano was thrown from the overturned vehicle and seriously hurt. (Southampton Patch)
2. Kyle Panzarella, 30, of Rocky Point was arrested and charged with driving while intoxicated. Galicio Ramirez Severo, 38, of Bridgehampton, was arrested and charged with a misdemeanor DWI for failure to stop at a stop sign, police said. Both were held overnight for arraignment, police said. 3. On Saturday, May 21, starting at 11 a.m., at South Bay Auctions, located at 485 Montauk Highway, East Moriches, the estate of world-renowned quilt expert, dealer and author, Laura Fisher (1945-2021) will be auctioned. More than 400 selected lots of quilts, hooked rugs and other textiles ranging from the late 18th to mid-20th century, will be on display for bidding. Preview: Sunday, May 15 – 20, 11 a.m. – 4 p.m. and by appointment. (ArtfixDaily)
4. On Tuesday, the nonprofit organization, Habitat for Humanity, announced a merge with the Nassau and Suffolk chapters to form Habitat for Humanity of Long Island. Leaders of the affiliate to the national organization said the merge will expand services to provide more Long Islanders in need with affordable homes. (Long Island Press)
