Here are the top stories today in Southampton:

1. According to Southampton Town police, on Tuesday, at 10 p.m., Jose Castro, 44, of Riverside, was seen moving from his lane of travel unsafely on Country Road 39 and Henry Road, in North Sea. Castro struggled with officers but was apprehended and charged with felony for operating a motor vehicle while intoxicated due to a prior conviction, resisting arrest, and other traffic violations, police said. 2. Marshalls opens today, May 5 at the Bridgehampton Commons. The store hours are from 8 a.m. to 10 p.m. Don't miss the grand opening! (Marshalls)
3. There's a new database in town, announced Suffolk County Sheriff Errol Toulon Jr. The new online tool will help local pet parents quickly locate missing animals. The Lost Pet Network "will enroll pets into a database and provide owners with a printed pet identification card. If an enrolled four-legged friend goes missing, the Suffolk County Sheriff's Office will send an alert with the pet's information to deputy sheriffs and local municipalities. Information about the lost pet will also be shared on social media accounts to aid in the animal's return," the Suffolk County Sheriff said. (Patch)
   
4. Late Tuesday night, Suffolk County detectives found two men shot to death inside a home in Selden, police said. Police said in a news release Wednesday morning that Ian Saalfield, 45, of Lake Grove, and the homeowner, Robert Julian, 58 were found in the home. Police are asking anyone with information about the case to call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-220-TIPS. (News 12 Bronx)
