- Southampton Village Junior Lifeguard Program for kids ages 9β14 at Coopers Beach is more than just a Lifeguard program it helps youngsters build confidence and helps to shed their fear of the water. - Suffolk County Water Authority has agreed to meet this month and discuss working together with Riverhead Town Officials to bring clean water to residents in the Riverhead section of Manorville whose private wells are contaminated with toxins. (Subscription: Newsday)

- The Waterdrinker Family Farm & Garden in Manorville is celebrating Tulip Festival with one million tulips in bloom! The team at Waterdrinker is hoping that the blossoms last until Mother's Day, but don't count on it, tulips prefer cooler weather. Waterdrinker Family Farm & Garden is located at 663 Wading River Road in Manorville. The farm and tulip fields are open daily and admission is $15 per person Monday-Friday and $20 per person on Saturdays and Sundays. Children under 2 are free.
