1. 'March for Our Lives' rally will be held in held in Southampton Saturday, as East End residence join the nation in rallying for gun control in America. The rally will take place at noon outside Southampton Town Hall on Hampton Road. The main event, in Washington, DC. is expected to draw a large crowd. (Southampton Patch)
2. The "Bigs in Blue" mentoring program is hoping to make a positive difference in a child's life by creating a partnership between the Southampton Town Police and the Big Brothers Big Sisters of Long Island. The program pairs police officers with at-risk youth for one-on-one mentoring, hoping to build stronger bonds between law enforcement and the families they serve. (Southampton Patch)
