Frost Advisories Issued For Parts Of Hudson Valley

Temperatures as low as 33 overnight could result in areas of frost formation, meteorologists said.

HUDSON VALLEY, NY — Temperatures dropping to the mid-30s or lower overnight Saturday have prompted frost advisories in the Hudson Valley.

The National Weather Service has issued frost advisories for Orange and Putnam counties as well as eastern Columbia, western Ulster and eastern Dutchess counties.

Putnam and Orange could see temperatures as low as 35 that might result in frost formation. In the parts of Columbia, Ulster and Dutchess under the advisory there could be temperatures between 33 and 36 that will result in patchy areas of frost.

The advisories are in effect from midnight to 8 a.m. Sunday.
