Ossining Man Accused Of Drunken Driving Twice In 18 Hours
The first time was on the Taconic State Parkway, according to authorities, shortly after 3 a.m.
PUTNAM VALLEY, NY — An Ossining man was accused of driving while drunk twice in an 18-hour period.
The Putnam County Sheriff's Department said the 23-year-old whose name was not released was first arrested shortly after 3 a.m. Sunday.
Deputies said he was seen traveling at about 30 mph while failing to stay in the lane going north on the Taconic State Parkway in the town of Putnam Valley.

He failed filed sobriety tests and was charged with driving while intoxicated, a misdemeanor.
After being processed at the sheriff's office, the man was issued tickets returnable to the Putnam Valley Court, authorities said.

Then, at 9:20 p.m. Sunday, a different deputy saw a car going south on Peekskill Hollow Road near Bryant Pond Road.
The deputy said the car was crossing over the solid yellow line without signaling a lane change.
A traffic stop was initiated and the deputy said it was the same person as before.
He was once again charged with driving while intoxicated and issued tickets returnable to the Putnam Valley Court.
