3 Suspects Sought After Quadruple Shooting in Bay Ridge: NYPD

Four men were sent to the hospital in stable condition early Saturday after being shot on 3rd Avenue, police said.

BAY RIDGE, BROOKLYN — A quadruple shooting in Bay Ridge on Saturday sent four men to the hospital in stable condition, police said.

Shortly before 4 a.m. on Oct. 8, three men approached the M & S Mini Market at 7301 3rd Ave., after which two pulled out guns and started shooting at four men inside, according to the NYPD.

A 28-year-old was hit in the left arm pit and backside; a 44-year-old was shot in the chin; a 46-year-old was shot in the back and stabbed in the stomach; and a 33-year-old was shot in the ankle, police said.

The suspects then fled the scene in an unknown direction.

Emergency medical responders took three of the men to Lutheran Medical Center, while one walked there, according to the NYPD. All four were listed in stable condition.

No arrests had been made as of Monday, and an investigation into the crimes was ongoing, according to police.

Detectives describe the three suspects, pictured above, as follows:

The first suspect is a Hispanic male in his mid-to-late 20s last seen wearing a white t-shirt, a black baseball cap, and long black shorts.

The second suspect is a Hispanic male in his mid-to-late 20s last seen wearing blue jeans, black and white sneakers and a black hoodie.

The third suspect is described as a Hispanic male in his mid-to-late 20s last seen wearing a black shirt, black shoes and black pants.

This shooting took place in the NYPD's 68th Precinct, which patrols Bay Ridge. Through Oct. 2, major crimes were collectively down nearly 13 percent in the 68th compared to the same period last year, according to official NYPD statistics. Two shootings with two victims had been recorded in the precinct through Oct. 2, compared to 1 shooting with 1 victim during the same period in 2015.

Through Oct. 2, 790 shootings with 941 victims had been recorded city-wide by the NYPD, compared to 884 shooting with 1,050 victims during the same period last year.
