1. Sunset Park's own youth-led organization UPROSE is working on installing solar panels on top of the Brooklyn Navy Yard, which will power up to 200 homes in the neighborhood at a low cost. 2. Sean Conaboy, a member of St. Michael Catholic Church in Sunset Park, received the Carnegie Medal from the Carnegie Hero Fund Commission, along with a $5,000 grant. Last year Conaboy saved a woman from a knife attack on a Manhattan subway platform. (Brooklyn Daily Eagle)
