Voters Approve Jericho Budget, Elect Trustees

Residents headed to the polls Tuesday to vote on a school budget and elect board members.

Jericho residents approved a 2018-19 school budget on Tuesday.

The $122,653,735 budget passed with 472 yes votes and 80 no votes, according to the school district. The budget is a 0.01 percent spending decrease over the current year and it comes with a 0.0 percent tax levy increase.

Residents also elected Daborah Lee and William Ferro, who ran unopposed, to the Jericho Board of Education.
