Navaretta Foundation Animal Rescue Walk-A-Thon Saturday Raises Money For Scholarship Fund, Rescues
The event is held in honor of Sabrina Navaretta, whose love for animals transpires.

SYOSSET, NY — The third annual Sabrina Navaretta Dog Rescue Walk-A-Thon will take place on Saturday to raise funds for the Sabrina Navaretta Memorial Foundation and various animal rescue groups.
The event honors and celebrates the life of Sabrina, whose passion for helping rescue dogs transpires. Her parents, friends, family, community members, and Syosset High School students and faculty will be participating in the walk-a-thon. The foundation has a college scholarship fund that has been established in Sabrina’s memory.
Sabrina was a Syosset alum and Woodbury resident who tragically lost her life as a passenger in a car accident in April 2023. The foundation's website states that she was an honors student at the University of Delaware and was in honor societies at Syosset High School in the class of 2022.
